• About Me:

My name is Rhianna Jameson, and I am the Monday through Wednesday art teacher at Lincoln Elementary School. Although this is my first year teaching, I did 8 weeks of student teaching in the Fall of 2014 at Lincoln School. I also substituted in Pre-K through 12th grade classrooms for about two years, filled in for a high school art teacher for a 6 week leave, and worked 3 months as a one-on-one paraprofessional. Additionally, I have taught Arts and Crafts at a local camp for 3 summers.

    My Education:

I have a B.A. in Art Education from William Paterson University.

I also hope to go back to school to get my Master’s in Counseling and a Therapist License so that I can use Art Therapy to help children with special needs.

    My Art:

I have dabbled in many forms of art and craft related mediums, including drawing (graphite, charcoal, ink), painting (acrylic, watercolor), ceramics, printmaking, papercrafting, screenprinting, crochet, sewing, cross stitching, needlepoint and more. At William Paterson I had a concentration in painting, and continue to paint today. I also have my own screenprinting machine, which allows me to turn my drawings into screens to print onto fabric. This is probably my favorite medium!

A few times a year, I attend shows to sell my artwork. I also do this through Etsy, so I know quite a bit about selling one’s own art. When I’m not teaching or making art to sell, I enjoy sewing my own cosplay costumes which take a lot of concentration and artistic skill to put together.
