I am very happy to be teaching your child this year!  I have worked in the field of special education since 2000.  I began as the Primary LLD teacher here in Pompton Lakes.  I was awarded the Governor's Teacher Award for Lenox School in 2006.  I taught Grades 3 and 4 Resource Center teacher at Lincoln School for the last two years.  I am excited about my new position as Kindergarten teacher and the new learning opportunities involved.

I have my bachelors degree in psychology and special education.  I have a master's degree in education from Marygrove College. I also received training in the Orton Gillingham reading approach from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

A little about myself...I am married for ten years to my wonderful and supportive husband.  I have three beautiful daughters.  Kailey and Riley are six and Ashley is three years old.  I love being a MOM!  In my free time, I love to read, kickbox, run, coach soccer and softball but most of all spend time with my family!
