      • Color Matters

4th grade students complete a unit on color on which they are assessed. This website is a great tool to help students not only know and understand colors and their relationships, but also how color can affect people and their moods. Artists use color strategically in their paintings to help convey certain emotions.

      • Art Detective

Become a detective and tell the difference between different paintings and try to figure out who painted it based on the style, and images in the painting. All artists have a signature style and once you understand that artist and that style, you can begin to recognize their paintings!
