Family-School communication has a strong association with student achievement (Tan & Peng, 2023) and their positive social-emotional functioning (Smith et al., 2019). For the 2026-2027 school year, parents/guardians in district Title Ia schools (Lakeside and Lenox) are invited to attend monthly PTA meetings to hear about and offer suggestions for Title Ia programming through the district's Parent Outreach Liaison. Please refer to your child's school calendar for dates/times of these meetings.
